Directed by Srijit Mukherjee, Shabaash Mithu tracks the journey of Mithali Raj, ex-captain of the Indian Women's Cricket team for both One Day and Test Matches. Leveraging its association with the film, USHA’s campaign will include aco-branded TVC, strategically placed in-film branding, digital activation and online contests, celebrity meet-and-greet, as well as mass advertising in cinema halls pan India, in order to amplify consumer connect and engagement.

The 7th Usha Divyang Cricket League, sponsored by Usha International in association with All India Cricket Association for the Deaf (AICAD) and Deaf Cricket Federation of Punjab, saw spirited on-ground action in the finals played today. Sanjay Tandon, President, UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh, and Sarpreet Singh Gill, IAS, Secretary Sports Department, UT Chandigarh, graced the closing ceremony as the guests of honour, and felicitated the winners.

Underpinning its commitment to supporting inclusive sporting initiatives, USHA today announced its continued association with All India Cricket Association for the Deaf (AICAD) and Deaf Cricket Federation of Punjab as sponsors of the 7th edition of the Usha Divyang Cricket League. To be played in Chandigarh, this year the league will witness over 150 specially-abled cricketers play across three categories: visually impaired, hearing impaired, and wheelchair categories. The inauguration ceremony for the League will be held on 2nd May, 2022 at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium, Chandigarh.

The 11th edition of the DGC Ladies Open Amateur Golf Championship 2022, presented by USHA, saw 13-year old Riya Jadon walking away with the title score of (78, 80, 74) in a closely-contested final with her older sister Lavanya Jadon (age 15) nipping at her heels at a score (76, 79, 79). Riya also won the Junior Girls Trophy. Over a hundred women golfers took part in this year’s tournament, which resumed at the Delhi Golf Club after a two-year hiatus.
