Ludhiana, August 20, 2024 (News Team): For entrepreneurs driving a business through the dynamic landscape of today's rapidly evolving economy, understanding and utilizing financial tools like CIBIL Rank and Company Credit Report (CCR) is pivotal. To aid this understanding, TransUnion CIBIL and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) came together to conduct a workshop in Chandigarh on“Easing Credit Availability Though Improved CIBIL Score and CIBIL Rank”on August 9, 2024. The workshop saw Bhushan Padkil, SVP and Head, Direct to Consumer Business, TransUnion CIBIL in attendance which further provided the attendees (MSME cluster of Chandigarh) with a deeper understanding of CIBIL Rank and CCR and how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can leverage these to significantly enhance their ability to not only secure capital but also propel their business forward.

There are several studies that suggest MSMEs will boost their GDP contribution to 35-40% by 2027. Hence, it is crucial for MSMEs to adopt digital transformation to unleash their growth potential and play a pivotal role in making India a Viksit Bharat (a developed economy) by 2047. Recognizing the need for digital adoption, GoI has introduced several key initiatives and policies such as Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Udyam Portal, Udyami Mitra and others to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and boost the overall competitiveness of the MSME sector.
Ludhiana, June 17, 2022 (News Team): ICICI Bank today announced that InstaBIZ aims to help micro, small and medium (MSME) enterprises grow in Punjab and Haryana as the first-of-its-kind app for business banking offers a host of benefits for all, including customers of other banks. The host of benefits being offered by the new version of InstaBIZ can be put into three categories: i) enhanced banking services for existing customers, ii) a bouquet of banking services to MSMEs, who are customers of other banks, iii) a whole range of value-added services for all. With this, the new version of InstaBIZ, which was unveiled last month, brings forth a significant shift from the existing industry practice where banks offer services only to their customers.
