Ludhiana, August 02, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology organized orientation programme for new batch at its campus. The orientation programme started with the refreshments and moved further with detailing to students about academics and teaching pedagogy at LCET.
Students learnt many new lessons for professional code of conduct during their stay at the Institute. During the orientation program institution profile i.e. infrastructure, rich faculty experiment and management was introduced to students through audio visual aids and presentations.
The event was followed by an interesting team building games. Teams put their best efforts to win the game. There were multiple teams playing the game. Prizes were given to the winners and runners up team at the end.
Chairman, LCET, Vijay Gupta was the chief guest at the occasion. While welcoming the students he said that one needs to have a goal in life and preserve to achieve it. He later, also discussed the personality traits. He emphasized the importance of positive attitude, dedication, commitment and discipline. He motivated students to keep their aim high to achieve the chosen positive goal of life. He stressed on need on updating of knowledge time to time to excel. He further explained that Students must focus on imbibing skills which make them comfortably employable within the industry and corporates. He added that parents are key stakeholders in their children’s education and both the student as well as institute has a responsibility to ensure that they don’t fail in life. He shared the value having the right attitude and strong character as a “Mantra”. He advised the fresher’s to have full faith in their teachers to achieve the goals of life.
