| Chief Guest Ashwini Kumar honouring a student during Honouring the Toppers Function at KVM |
Ludhiana, August 19, 2017 (Manisha Sharma): It was a very special day for the Kundanites who burnt their midnight oil to achieve excellence in their CBSE exams 2016-17 as they were honoured at Honouring the Toppers Function today at KVM Civil Lines in Ludhiana.
Those students were honoured who scored up to 95% in class 12th and those who got 10 CGPA in class 10th. Those who scored above 95% will be honoured at the Annual Prize Distribution Function.
Ashwini Kumar, Manager, School Managing Committee was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He was accorded a formal welcome. Navita Puri, the Principal, started the function with a prayer and then addressed the audience. In her address she said that all dreams come true for those who have the courage to pursue them. Ashwini Kumar honoured about 155 students.
An inspirational medley was presented by the students of the Higher Section. Ashwini Kumar addressed the gathering. He congratulated the achievers. He said that one must dream lofty and pursue it wholeheartedly. One's vision is the promise of what one shall be one day.
Parinita, the Vice Head Girl, proposed a vote of thanks. National Anthem marked the closing of the programme.
