Ludhiana, August 11, 2017 (Tarvinder Kaur): Fresher’s party is the moment when all the seniors whole heartedly and joyfully welcome their juniors. Fun, frolic and rejuvenation marked the Fresher’s party organized by the departments of Computer Science and Business Administration at Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines in Ludhiana.
It was a theme based celebration. The mesmerizing music, songs, flash freezing lights and the exuberant students were the defining moments in the party. The show was a blend of cultural items and foot tapping performances. The gala event of the day “Ramp Modeling” by the students of First year was judged by Ritu Ahuja (HOD, Maths), Reema Sharma (HOD, Music (V)), Sanmeet Kaur (Deptt. of Fine Arts).
In Dept. of Computer Science, Nitika selected as Miss Fresher, Manmeet Kaur as Miss Best Dressed, Jahanavi as Miss Gorgeous. In Dept. of Business Management, Monika Kalsi selected as Miss Budding Manager, Kareena Chopra as Miss Style Fiesta, Rupali Narang as Miss Sunshine Smile.
The Principal of the college, Dr. Mukti Gill, welcomed the first year students and applauded the efforts of the students and teachers in putting up such a colourful show.
