Students displaying their creativity during British Council ISA Activity 3 |
Ludhiana, August 31, 2017 (Manisha Sharma): BCM school, Sector -32- A, Ludhiana has successfully accomplished with British Council ISA Activity 3: ‘An Odyssey: Producer to Provider’ in the month of August, thus providing global knowledge to the young minds of Middle Block.
The students of classes VII and VIII broadened their horizon about farming of Wheat and Rice, topography of soil, life style of farmers, tools and techniques and climate of different countries like India, Bangladesh and America by attending ‘An Expert’s Lecture’ and visit to PAU in Ludhiana which were followed by other sub activities like ‘Questionnaire’, and ‘PPT Competition’.
The pupils also got a chance to expose their creative thinking and analytical skill in activities like ‘Map Locating’, ‘Graphical Presentation’ and ‘Model Making’. Apart from this, ‘Quiz Bee’ was also conducted to evaluate the knowledge gained by the students about the inter connected world. All the efficient efforts of the young BCMites put forth under this activity were exhibited in Middle Block which was highly appreciated by the Principal, teachers, parents and students of other wings.
