Nabbed Junior Technical Assistant in the custody of Vigilance team |
Ludhiana, July 03, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): State Vigilance Bureau, during its ongoing campaign against corruption, today nabbed a Junior Technical Assistant (JTA) Kuldeep Singh red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand).
Disclosing this official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said Kuldeep Singh JTA working in the office of General Manager-cum-Mining Officer, Ludhiana has been nabbed red handed on the complaint of Mohinder Singh, resident of village Powat, district Ludhiana.
He added that the complainant has approached the Bureau and alleged that the accused Kuldeep Singh was demanding Rs. 25,000 to release his loaded tipper.
After verifying his information, the Vigilance team laid a trap and the accused JTA was caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.25000 from the complainant in the presence of two official witnesses.
The spokesman said a case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered at Vigilance Bureau Police Station, Ludhiana and further investigation is under progress.
