Police personnel learning computer skills during Special Training at LCET |
Ludhiana, July 19, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology organized one month Computer Course for the 30 police personnel at its campus. This training was aimed at preparing the police to go hi-tech and acquaint themselves with the modern system of police administration.
The course included topics such as introduction to computers, operating systems Windows/Disk Operating System), Microsoft Office tools, MS World, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
Vijay Gupta, Chairman, LCET, informed that the purpose of this course is to ensure that Punjab Police sufficiently prepared to attend computer investigation and Internet Crimes. Such courses can meet the challenges of today’s complex environment and helpful to curb the crimes at its budding stage which will helpful in making use of online services in better manner by the citizens as well as youngster who are generally more vulnerable.
