Ludhiana, July 14, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): The students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines Ludhiana have achieved outstanding results in B.com-6th Semester examinations held in May 2017.
Gursimranpreet Kaur has bagged and first position in college, sixth position in the University and fifth in district with 3075 marks out of 3700 securing 83.10 percent while Kajal stood second in college and tenth in district with 2994 marks out of 3700 securing 80.91 percent. Japneet Kaur Chugh secured third position in college by scoring 2947 marks. Out of 208 students who appeared for examination, 186 students cleared in first division out of which 26 students passed with distinction.
Topper of the college, Gursimranpreet Kaur attributed her success to her hard work, tireless efforts of the Departmental staff, motivational support of the college Principal coupled with the blessings of her Parents. The College Management and Principal, Dr. Mukti Gill congratulated the staff of Post Graduate Department of Commerce for their sincere efforts in achieving excellent results and maintaining the tradition of the college in clinching top university positions and also wished them good luck for future.
