Ludhiana, July 06, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar School reopened their doors and welcomed the students after the rejuvenating summer break. The roads were busy with the hustle and bustle of parents getting their children to school on time so as to have them start the new day punctually.
Children were brimming with joy and elation to see their friends and teachers back plunged into the normal routine packed with plethora of fun and enjoyment. A “Teacher Training Programme” was conducted before the re-opening of school. The training specifically focused on exploring newer and interesting approaches to teaching through audio-visual aids with the aim to bring qualitative changes in teaching methodology of different subjects, hopefully making it more interesting and student friendly.
Smart Class Training was an interesting session for the teachers as it helped them to learn new ways to bring about a difference in their classrooms and give students an opportunity to excel. The training was participative in nature. In addition to that teachers also participated in Declamation and G.K. Quiz Competition.
Principal of the School, Jyoti Pujara welcomed the students and told the upcoming events and activities for the coming months. She motivated the students to participate in every activity both in scholastic and co-scholastic. She also addressed the staff to play a positive role to inspire the students and be a life-long learner. They need to be prime movers, motivating favorably about the value of education in shaping individual’s life and future.
