Ludhiana, July 07, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): The students of GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines once again made the Institution proud by successfully getting placed across diverse sectors and functional areas in campus and off campus placements in large numbers, this year.
GGNIMT organized a felicitation ceremony to appreciate the efforts of 40 such students who made it to the leading organizations such as Future Retail Group- Easy Day, HDFC Bank, Dainik Bhaskar Group, Sri Ram General Insurance, Godrej Boyce, Vodafone, TCY, Toronoto IT Labs, IMS Learning Resources, Hyatt Regency, Regenta Central Klassik and Ascensia Diabetes Care.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director, GGNIMT congratulated the students and wished them good luck for their rewarding future. While addressing them, he said that it wasn’t destiny that they got a job, It was indeed their courage and desire to make their destiny that pushed them forward. He also acknowledged the efforts of placement teams of all the three departments, Business Management, Computer Applications and Hotel Management for their hard work.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT extended his warm wishes and assured a life-long Institution support to all these students. He advised them to consider their first job as an opportunity to explore and learn for a brighter career.
Deepika Mehta, a Bcom Student said that she couldn’t have made it to Future Retail Group without the continuous efforts of her mentors. She mentioned that right from the day she joined GGNIMT, she was given umpteen opportunities and training classes to shed off her fears and inhibitions.
Amarpal Singh, an MBA student said that the regular interview preparation and GD guidance sessions held at GGNIMT has helped him to get selected at Dainik Bhaskar.
Gundeep Singh, an MCA student expressed his gratitude towards the faculty for their encouragement and belief in him. He said the IT practical knowledge imparted during the Lab lectures has helped him to get placed at Toronto IT Labs, Noida.
Baljinder Singh, a Hotel Management Student attributed his successful joining at Hyatt Regency to his teachers for honing his skills.
The heads of the three departments Prof. Parvinder Singh, Prof. Satinder Singh and Shanti Mani along with Placement co-incharge Navreet Bindra congratulated the students.
