Police officials learning advanced computer skills during Computer Training workshop at PCTE |
Ludhiana, July 18, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): PCTE Group of Institutes is organizing computer training workshop for police officials whereby the workshop is being attended by 50 officials from various departments of the city. The aim of the workshop is to provide advanced computer training which will continue for one month.
The training aims at providing both basic and advanced computer skills, starting with familiarizing the officials with computer and improvising their typing skills and extending the further workshop to windows operations and management.
The workshop is being conducted considering that the department is shifting to a new online software Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS). The new system is designed to serve public better, by making all DDR's, FIR's, challan copy along with other daily crime records available to senior officer's and public at click of a button.
RN Dhoke , Commissioner of Police said, "It's a very good support by the institute in training our officials and we look forward for similar interactive and useful training workshops by PCTE. "
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes considered it to be a proud moment where the IT department of PCTE is conducting this workshop. He also added that as now everything is becoming so technological driven this workshop is going to help the police officials a lot in their work.
