Ludhiana, June 23, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Meharans Singh Hundal, a student of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana was awarded with a Roll of Honour and cash prize for standing first in B.V.Sc. and A.H. by Guru Harkrishan Education Society, Chandigarh, on its 25th Annual Sanman Samaroh.
His name has been inscribed in the Academic Roll of Honour of the Society maintained for Toppers. Meharans was awarded the Roll of Honour certificate by the Chief Guest, Prof. Prakash Gopalan, Director, Thapar University Patiala. Meharans Singh has an OCPA of 8.56/10.00 in his degree.
He is an outstanding sportsman having represented GADVASU in three intervarsity championships. He participated in field and track events and was declared Best Athlete in 2015-16. He has been awarded University Merit Certificate for Basketball as well as Cricket. It's pertinent to mention that his elder brother is also a Basketball player and a Veterinary Graduate from GADVASU, now entering the profession in Canada.
