Ludhiana, June 12, 2017 (Manisha Sharma): The two weeks Summer Camp concluded at Green Land Convent School, New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana with a high note amid fun and learning. The campwas a hub of rejuvenation, rejoice, recreation and reinforcement where different activities were clubbed to make students improve their concentration, learning, imagination and develop their social skills.
Spoken English, Personality Development, Western Dance, Classical Dance, Calligraphy, Abacus, Art & Craft, Sports like Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Karate, Skating, Kabaddi, Chess, Hockey and fitness were comprised to make it as a wholesome exposure for learners. More than 120 students participated in that array of activities.
Students were zealous to participate in these activities. A great change was noticed in the students as compared to the time back when they joined the camp.
On the last day of the camp a function was organized to exhibit the talent of students which was groomed in this camp. The show involved most of the students in a spectacular performance enriched with rich music, dance, play, speeches etc. The students presented their foundation of talents during this fantastic series of presentations. The confidence and the superb performance of the students on the stage kept the audience glued to their seats throughout the show.
The Chairman of Chain of Green Land Schools Rajesh Rudhra applauded the efforts of students and staff members. He expressed his happiness and encouraged the budding green knights to continue their toil and attain greater heights in life. He said that that these camps groom the hidden talent of students.
The Principal Jyoti Pujara appreciated staff and students to put a great show all together. She said educational activities add learning in a fun and meaningful way is the need of the hour. These activities make the students love and enjoy the sweet creativity.
On the whole, children were blooming with beaming faces and a smile that they were proud to be a part of this camp.
