Ludhiana, June 23, 2017 (Online News Ludhiana): Punjab & Sind Bank-RSETI (Rural Self Employment Training Institute) at Sabun bazaar, Ludhiana have conducted 30 days training program of Beauty Parlour course consisting of 35 candidates belongs to BPL/APL/SC/ST and other categories.
Certificates distributed among participant by Prabhdeep Singh Nathowal DPRO Ludhiana in presence of LDM Anoop Singh Chawla, SDR (Pb. & H.P.) Harsh Bir Singh, Director-RSETI Vijay Singh, AGM PSB Sabun Bazar Jatinder Takiyar. Trainees express the satisfaction over the other facilities imparted as well as the other facilities provided including free training, free food and the daily pick and drop facility provided by the institute.
During the function speakers said that the un-employed youth of our country were facing the problems of getting employment and feeling disappointment subsequently discarded from society, where in our RSETI play a vital role and provides not only free of cost training in different courses but also provides free of cost breakfast, refreshment, lunch and also pick up and drop facility to the undergone training candidates through our own bus facility and after completing training course help them to get the credit facility as per their needs from different bank branches to make them settled in their life and set their own venture, follow-up for two year.
The Director informed that this institute functioning in this district since 2009 and so far imparted training free of cost to about 2500 needy candidates of the district, out of which 46 % trainees have so far settled ,out of which 26% have been credit linked with the banks and much more to be done. The Director also informed that PSB-RSETI is also constructing its own building at Village Ayali Khurd-Ludhiana at the cost about 1.50 crores for which free one acre land has been provided by The District Administration. The institute is providing training in about 60 trades.
